It covers the RAVIN online store and relevant connected services. It does not mean every listed tool is active in every customer interaction.
01 / Who is responsible for your information?
This notice explains how RAVIN, the operator of shop.iravin.com (referred to here as “RAVIN,” “we,” “us” or “our”), handles personal information in connection with shopping, customer accounts, orders, returns, communications and, where relevant, our mobile application and retail services.
Company details for legal verification: RAVIN's full registered legal entity name, commercial registration details, registered address and designated data protection contact must be inserted and verified before this notice is published as the definitive legal policy. 02 / Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with RAVIN, the information involved may include:
- Identity and contact information: name, email, mobile number and delivery or billing address.
- Shopping and transaction information: products viewed or purchased, cart and order details, delivery instructions, returns, refunds, transaction identifiers and payment status.
- Account and communication information: account details, customer-service requests, messages and preferences you provide.
- Technical and usage information: device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from technical data, pages visited, referral sources and cookie or similar identifiers, where collected by active website tools.
- Marketing preferences: choices about promotional email, SMS or other electronic communications.
Payment-card details may be collected and handled directly by the payment service involved in a transaction. The exact payment information available to RAVIN depends on the payment method and provider.
03 / Why we use information
We use information, where a valid legal basis or other applicable authorization exists, for specific purposes: operating our store and customer accounts; processing payments and orders; arranging deliveries, exchanges and refunds; answering customer-service requests; preventing fraud and keeping services secure; maintaining records and meeting legal obligations; and understanding and improving the functionality of our services.
Promotional communications and non-essential advertising or tracking activities must be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements and customers' preferences. We do not treat simply visiting the website as blanket consent to all data uses. Where consent is required, it should be requested separately and can be withdrawn as the law provides.

Our online store uses Shopify as its commerce platform. Shopify and other enabled tools may use cookies, pixels or similar technologies for essential site functions, security, remembering a cart, measuring website performance and, where configured and permitted, analytics or advertising.
Not all cookies have the same purpose: some are needed for the site to work, while analytics and advertising tools may be optional and subject to consent or additional controls. Where a cookie-preference tool is provided, its settings should describe and control the relevant technologies. Before final publication, RAVIN must verify its active pixels, apps, cookie categories and whether its consent mechanism works across every integrated service.

RAVIN may offer promotions through channels such as email, SMS or other messaging services. Electronic direct marketing in Egypt is subject to consent and identification requirements. Marketing messages should identify RAVIN and provide a simple way to decline future marketing or withdraw consent.
To stop promotional communications, use an unsubscribe or opt-out method offered with the message, where available, or email helpme@iravin.com with your preferred contact channel. Opting out of promotions does not necessarily stop operational messages that are needed to complete an order or respond to a request.
06 / Who receives information
Information may be processed by service providers only for purposes connected with providing RAVIN services, such as Shopify for ecommerce infrastructure, payment and installment providers relevant to your selected payment method, delivery companies, customer-support technology, fraud-prevention and security services, and analytics or advertising partners where enabled and legally permitted.
The roles, contractual obligations, exact provider names and information exchanged must be verified against RAVIN's current provider inventory. We do not present this list as a complete confirmed list of every third party.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, valid legal process or to protect legal rights and security, subject to applicable safeguards.
07 / Storage and transfers outside Egypt
Some ecommerce, cloud, payment, messaging and technology providers may process or store information outside Egypt. International transfers are subject to restrictions and safeguards under Egyptian personal data protection law, including applicable permits or authorizations and other legal conditions.
RAVIN must confirm actual hosting regions, recipients, transfer arrangements, permits and required consents before issuing the final policy. This draft does not claim that a particular transfer has been legally authorized.
08 / How long information is kept
Retention should be limited to the period necessary for the original stated purpose, together with any additional period required by applicable accounting, tax, consumer-protection, dispute-resolution or other laws. Different records may have different retention periods. Once information is no longer needed, it should be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled as required by law.
Before publication: RAVIN must map actual retention periods for customer profiles, orders, marketing consent records, support messages, technical logs and backups. This notice intentionally does not invent a fixed number of months or years.
09 / Security of information
RAVIN aims to safeguard the information it handles through appropriate organizational and technical measures and by using service providers with suitable security controls. No website, network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. The specific security measures described in a final public policy must reflect verified operational practices rather than untested assurances.

10 / Your privacy rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions provided by applicable law, you may have the right to learn what personal information is held about you, access or obtain it, request correction or updating, request deletion, withdraw consent, request limits on processing, object to certain processing, and receive information about breaches as required by law.
To submit a request, email helpme@iravin.com and describe what you need. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity before discussing or disclosing personal data. The request will be considered under applicable law. Some data may need to be retained despite a request, where the law permits or requires it.
This email route is the current contact channel; it is not presented as a verified automated data-access or deletion portal.
11 / Children and age-related privacy
Our online shopping services are not designed for children to independently submit personal information or make purchases without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. Where information concerning a child is involved, the applicable age thresholds, parental consent rules and additional protections must be respected.
If you believe that a child has submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us at helpme@iravin.com. This draft does not rely on the old policy's blanket “under 13” statement as a substitute for local legal review.
